How to Remove the Battery from an Arwibon Q30 Scooter
This tutorial covers battery removal on an arwibon q30 scooter. The battery sits inside the deck compartment next to the controller, so the main power plug and charging connector need to be disconnected first, then the controller is moved aside to create enough room to lift the battery out.
Turn the scooter off before starting. Do not use sharp metal tools to pry against the battery pack.
Tools Needed
Prepare:
- Allen key
- Protective gloves
The deck cover should already be accessible so you can reach the battery and controller compartment.
Step 1: Open the Deck Compartment
Remove the deck cover and expose the battery and controller inside the arwibon q30 electric scooter.

Locate the yellow XT60 main power connector coming from the battery.
Step 2: Disconnect the XT60 Main Power Plug
Hold both halves of the yellow XT60 connector by the plastic housings.

Pull the two halves straight apart.
Do not pull on the wires themselves.
Once the XT60 connector is disconnected, the battery is no longer supplying power to the scooter controller.
Step 3: Disconnect the Battery Charging Connector
Locate the white connector between the battery and the charging-port wiring.

Release the connector and pull the two halves apart.

Again, hold the connector body instead of pulling the wires.
Step 4: Move the Controller Out of the Battery Compartment
The battery and controller sit close together inside the deck.

Lift the aluminum controller and its wiring carefully out of the compartment.

You do not need to disconnect all controller wiring for this battery-removal procedure.
Move it only far enough to create room for the battery to come out.
Do not put unnecessary tension on the controller harness.
Step 5: Free the Battery Wires
Follow the battery power cable and charging cable.

Make sure both disconnected plugs and their cables are free from the surrounding controller wiring.
The battery should be able to move without pulling another harness with it.
Step 6: Slide the Battery Backward
Hold the battery securely with both hands.

Slide it backward inside the deck compartment to clear the surrounding components.
Do not pull the battery out by its cables.
Step 7: Lift the Battery Out
Once the battery has enough clearance, lift it upward out of the deck compartment.

Keep the battery level while lifting.
Watch the main power and charging cables so they do not catch on the controller or the edge of the deck.
The battery is now completely removed from the arwibon q30 scooter.
Step 8: Place the Battery Safely
Set the removed battery on a dry, stable, non-conductive surface.
Keep it away from:
- sharp tools;
- loose metal hardware;
- water;
- heat sources;
- anything that could damage or puncture the battery casing.
Do not place heavy parts on top of the battery.
Step 9: Inspect the Battery Connections
Before reinstalling the battery or fitting a replacement, check:
- the yellow XT60 connector;
- the white charging connector;
- cable insulation;
- connector housings;
- the outer battery case.
If a connector is damaged or the battery casing shows obvious physical damage, do not force it back into service.
