Arwibon Q13PRO Controller Installation and Wiring Guide

If you are replacing both controllers on an Arwibon Q13PRO, the motor phase wires, Hall connectors, low-voltage control plugs, and Controller A/B communication harness must all be returned to the correct positions before battery power is restored.

This guide follows the official Q13PRO controller installation procedure. It covers Controller B and the rear motor first, connectors No. 1–11 in the main harness, and the communication link between Controller A and Controller B.

The connector numbering and wire combinations below apply to the Q13PRO configuration shown in this procedure. Do not use them as a universal wiring map for another Arwibon electric scooter.

Tools and Materials Needed

No screwdrivers or wrenches are required for the motor phase connections shown in this procedure. The Q13PRO uses insulated quick-disconnect bullet terminals.

Prepare:

  • Electrical insulating tape
  • Protective gloves
  • A clean workspace inside the deck compartment

Keep the yellow XT60 battery connection disconnected while installing the controller, Hall, phase, and signal wiring.

Q13PRO Controller Configuration

The official procedure identifies the two controller as:

Controller Original Assignment
Controller B Rear motor
Controller A Front motor

Controller B is connected first to the rear motor and the main vehicle harness.

Controller A is then connected through the controller-link communication harness and operates the front motor in the Q13PRO configuration shown in the service procedure.

Connect the Rear Motor to Controller B

Step 1: Connect No. 1 — Rear Motor Hall Connector

Locate the white 6-pin Hall connector from the rear motor and the matching Hall connector from Controller B.

The procedure shows the Hall wire group with red, black, blue, green, and yellow wires.

Align the keyed housing and locking tab.

Push the connector together until the latch engages.

Do not force it if the housings are not aligned.

After connection, check that no terminal has moved backward inside the plastic shell.

Connect the Rear Motor Phase Wires

The Q13PRO rear motor uses three insulated quick-disconnect phase connections.

The official procedure connects Controller B to the rear motor color to color.

Step 2: Connect No. 2 — Blue Phase Wire

Locate the blue phase wire from Controller B and the blue phase wire from the rear motor.

Connect:

Blue → Blue

Push the bullet connector fully into its mating terminal.

Then make sure the outer insulating sleeves overlap the complete metal joint.

No conductive metal should remain visible.

Step 3: Connect No. 3 — Green Phase Wire

Locate the green phase connections.

Connect:

Green → Green

Push the connector fully together.

Lightly check the connection afterward to make sure it does not pull apart easily.

Return the insulating sleeve over the terminal.

Step 4: Connect No. 4 — Yellow Phase Wire

Locate the yellow Controller B phase wire and yellow rear motor wire.

Connect:

Yellow → Yellow

Push the terminal fully into place and cover the complete connection with its insulating sleeve.

Controller B should now have its Hall connector and all three rear-motor phase wires connected.

Connect the Main Vehicle Harness

The next group covers the No. 5–11 connectors shown in the official Q13PRO procedure.

These are small control and communication connections rather than motor phase terminals.

Match each connector by its original position, keyed housing, and wire combination.

Connect No. 5 — Main Multi-Pin Harness

Step 5: Join the Main Communication Connector

Locate the wide black multi-pin connector coming from the vehicle harness.

The procedure shows a mixed group of red, blue, green, yellow, black, and other wires.

Align the connector guides and side locking tabs.

Push both halves together evenly until the locking mechanism engages.

Do not push on one side only, as the multi-pin connector should enter straight.

This is the main vehicle communication harness identified in the supplied procedure.

Connect No. 6 — Black/Red to Orange/Black

Step 6: Join the Small 2-Pin Connector

Locate the small black 2-pin connector shown with:

Black/Red → Orange/Black

Align the anti-reverse guide and push the housings together.

Check that the connector latch has engaged and that the small pins remain seated.

Connect No. 7 — Red/Green to Red/Black

Step 7: Connect the Next 2-Pin Branch

Find the black 2-pin connector shown with:

Red/Green → Red/Black

Push the two halves together until fully seated.

The supplied procedure identifies this as one of the control or feedback branches in the main harness.

Keep the original connector arrangement unchanged.

Connect No. 8 — Black/Yellow to Orange/Black

Step 8: Connect the Switch-Control Branch

Locate the black 2-pin connector shown with:

Black/Yellow → Orange/Black

Align the locking slot and connect it fully.

The source procedure associates this branch with the drive-mode or switching circuit.

Do not identify a similar-looking connector elsewhere by color alone.

Connect No. 9 — Blue/White/Yellow to White/Orange

Step 9: Join the Signal Connector

Locate the small black connector shown with blue/white/yellow wiring on one side and white/orange on the other.

Align the housings and push the plug completely together.

Check the locking tab afterward.

The supplied procedure identifies this connection as part of the vehicle's status or signal-feedback wiring.

Connect No. 10 — 3-Pin Control Connector

Step 10: Connect the 3-Pin Plug

Locate the small black 3-pin connector shown with:

Red/Yellow/Green → White/Black/Gray

Align the guide and insert the plug straight.

All three terminal positions should remain seated as the housings come together.

Do not force a 3-pin connector that stops before fully seating.

Connect No. 11 — White-to-Black 2-Pin Connector

Step 11: Connect the Auxiliary Branch

Locate the white female housing and black male housing shown in the procedure.

The wiring is identified as:

Red/Black → White/Black

Push the connector fully together until it locks.

The source procedure identifies this as an auxiliary system connection.

Connect Controller A to the Controller B Harness

Controller A is the second controller in the Q13PRO dual-controller system shown in the video.

The official procedure uses a wide multi-pin communication connection between the two controller-side harnesses.

Step 12: Locate the Controller A Communication Plug

Take Controller A and locate its wide black multi-pin connector.

Find the matching connector from the already assembled Controller B/main-harness group.

Check the pin orientation before connection.

Step 13: Connect the Controller A/B Link

Align both multi-pin housings.

Push them together evenly until the side locking features engage.

Do not force the connector or bend it sideways while joining the two halves.

After connection, lightly check that the housings cannot separate without releasing the lock.

This is the Controller A/B interconnect shown in the official Q13PRO installation procedure.

Inspect the Hall Connector Before Powering On

The white Hall connector should not be judged only by whether the plastic housings appear connected.

Check:

  • Locking tab engaged
  • No bent pins
  • No terminal pushed backward
  • No loose wire at the rear of the housing

A backed-out Hall terminal can cause a motor to start poorly, jerk, or fail to run even though the connector looks assembled from the outside.

Fully Cover the Bullet Phase Connectors

The blue, green, and yellow rear-motor phase wires carry motor current.

After each bullet connector is joined, move the insulating sleeve over the complete metal terminal.

Check all three connections together.

There should be no exposed conductive surface that could touch:

  • Another phase connection
  • A controller housing
  • The metal deck
  • Other exposed electrical hardware

Do not restore battery power until the phase connections are covered.

Keep Battery Power Disconnected During Wiring

The yellow XT60 main power connection should remain disconnected while the Hall connector, phase wires, No. 5–11 harnesses, and Controller A/B communication plug are being installed.

Do not disconnect or reconnect motor phase wires while the scooter is powered.

Once all controller wiring has been inspected and arranged inside the deck, reconnect the battery supply last.

Arrange the Harness Before Installing the Controllers

Before sliding Controller A and Controller B back into the deck, arrange the small signal wires along the available side spaces.

Do not trap wiring:

  • Under the controller housings
  • Against sharp metal edges
  • Across deck-cover bolt holes
  • Near folding or moving structures
  • Under high-current phase connectors

The controller housings should sit in position without crushing the harness.

Reconnect the XT60 Battery Power Last

After the controller installation is complete, perform one final visual check.

Confirm:

  • No. 1 Hall connector is locked
  • Blue, green, and yellow rear phase connectors are fully seated
  • No phase terminal is exposed
  • No. 5–11 plugs are connected
  • The Controller A/B multi-pin link is locked
  • No wiring is pinched

Then reconnect the yellow XT60 battery connector.

Align the keyed shape and push the housing fully together.

Perform the First Motor Test With the Wheels Raised

Support the Arwibon Q13PRO so both wheels are completely off the ground.

Power on the scooter.

Apply only a small amount of throttle at first.

Watch the front and rear motors.

Check that:

  • Both motors begin rotating normally
  • Neither motor jerks heavily
  • No abnormal electrical sound is heard
  • No connector moves or separates
  • No phase-wire connection becomes hot immediately

If one motor behaves abnormally, switch the scooter off before touching the wiring again.

Disconnect the XT60 battery power before reopening or changing any controller connection.

If the Rear Motor Does Not Run

Because Controller B operates the rear motor in the Q13PRO configuration shown here, start by rechecking:

  1. No. 1 white Hall connector
  2. No. 2 blue phase connector
  3. No. 3 green phase connector
  4. No. 4 yellow phase connector
  5. Controller B power and control harnesses
  6. The main Controller A/B communication connection

Do not replace the motor or controller only because the wheel fails the first test.

Connector seating should be checked first.

If the fault cannot be isolated from a visual wiring inspection, the Q13PRO controller swap test can be used to separate a controller-side problem from a motor-side problem.

Q13PRO Wiring Is Not the Same as Every Arwibon Model

The rear-motor Controller B assignment, Controller A front-motor assignment, connector numbering, and color-to-color rear phase arrangement in this guide come from the Q13PRO service procedure.

Do not automatically apply this wiring map to a Q06Pro, Q12, or another Arwibon scooter.

Different Arwibon electric scooter models can use different controller assignments, connector housings, or phase arrangements.

Final Installation Check

Before closing the deck, inspect the complete wiring one more time.

The installation is ready for final assembly when:

  • Controller B is connected to the rear motor
  • Rear Hall connector is locked
  • Blue → blue phase connection is complete
  • Green → green phase connection is complete
  • Yellow → yellow phase connection is complete
  • No. 5–11 connectors are fully seated
  • Controller A/B communication connector is locked
  • All phase terminals are insulated
  • Signal wires are clear of deck fasteners
  • Controller housings do not crush any wiring
  • XT60 battery power is connected only after the other wiring is complete
