Arwibon Q13PRO Controller A Installation and Wiring Guide

If you are replacing Controller A on an Arwibon Q13PRO, the front motor Hall connector, three motor phase wires, two control-signal plugs, and the Controller A/B communication harness must all be connected in the correct order.

This guide follows the official Q13PRO Controller Installation 1 procedure. It covers connectors No. 1–7 for Controller A.

The connector numbering and phase-wire arrangement below apply to the Q13PRO configuration shown in this procedure. Do not reuse them on another Arwibon electric scooter unless the original wiring has been confirmed first.

Controller A Specifications

The official Controller A shown in the procedure is a sine-wave brushless motor controller.

The controller housing is marked with a large “A” for identification.

Tools and Work Area

No mechanical tools are required for the phase-wire connections shown in this procedure.

Prepare:

  • Protective insulated gloves
  • Clean, dry work surface
  • Enough space to lay out Controller A and the front motor wiring

Keep battery power disconnected while making the Hall, phase, control, and communication connections.

Connect the Front Motor to Controller A

Step 1: Connect No. 1 — Front Motor Hall Connector

Locate the white 6-pin Hall connector from Controller A and the matching white connector from the front motor.

The procedure shows the Hall wire group with red, black, blue, green, and yellow wires.

Align the keyed housings.

Push the connector together until the locking tab engages.

Check that no terminal has moved backward inside the housing.

Connect the Front Motor Phase Wires

The front motor phase arrangement shown in the official Q13PRO procedure is not all color-to-color.

Use this exact pattern:

  • Yellow → Yellow
  • Green → Blue
  • Blue → Green

Step 2: Connect No. 2 — Yellow to Yellow

Locate the yellow phase wire from Controller A and the yellow wire from the front motor.

Connect:

Yellow → Yellow

Push the bullet terminal fully into its mating connector.

Then move the insulating sleeve over the entire metal joint.

No conductive metal should remain visible.

Step 3: Connect No. 3 — Green to Blue

Locate the green phase wire from Controller A and the blue phase wire from the front motor.

Connect:

Green → Blue

Push the bullet connector fully together.

Check that the outer insulating sleeve completely covers the terminal.

Do not change this to green-to-green when following this Q13PRO procedure.

Step 4: Connect No. 4 — Blue to Green

Locate the blue phase wire from Controller A and the green phase wire from the front motor.

Connect:

Blue → Green

Push the connection fully together and cover it with the insulating sleeve.

The front motor phase circuit should now be:

  • Yellow → Yellow
  • Green → Blue
  • Blue → Green

Connect Controller A Control Signals

Step 5: Connect No. 5 — 2-Pin Control Connector

Locate the small black 2-pin connector shown in the official procedure.

The source identifies one side by two green wires and the opposite harness by blue/red/green wiring.

Align the keyed shape and locking feature.

Push the connector together until the latch engages.

Check that the small terminals remain seated.

Connect No. 6 — 3-Pin Control Connector

Step 6: Join the 3-Pin Signal Plug

Locate the black 3-pin connector shown with yellow/white wiring on one side and red/blue/green wiring on the other.

Align the connector guide.

Push the two halves straight together until fully seated.

Do not force the plug if the pins or guide are misaligned.

Connect Controller A to Controller B

Step 7: Connect No. 7 — A/B Communication Harness

Place Controller B beside Controller A.

Locate the wide black multi-pin communication connector between the two controller harnesses.

The procedure shows a multicolor wire group including red, blue, black, white, and green.

Align the two housings carefully.

Push them together evenly until the locking tabs engage.

This is the Controller A/B interconnect shown in the Q13PRO procedure.

Check the Front Motor Phase Order Carefully

The most important wiring detail in this procedure is the front motor phase arrangement.

Controller A does not use full color-to-color phase wiring here.

The official Q13PRO sequence is:

  • Yellow → Yellow
  • Green → Blue
  • Blue → Green

Do not connect blue-to-blue and green-to-green when following this specific procedure.

If a different controller version or modified motor has been installed previously, compare the current wiring with the original setup before changing anything.

Fully Cover the Bullet Connectors

After connecting No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4, inspect all three phase joints.

The metal bullet terminals must be fully covered by their insulating sleeves.

Check that:

  • No gold-colored metal remains exposed
  • The connectors are fully inserted
  • The sleeves overlap the complete joint
  • The wires are not sharply bent at the terminal

Do not restore battery power with an exposed phase connector inside the metal deck compartment.

Check the Hall Connector

The No. 1 Hall connector should be inspected after installation.

Confirm:

  • Locking tab engaged
  • No bent pins
  • No terminal pushed backward
  • No loose wire at the back of the housing

A Hall connector can look assembled while one terminal is still not making contact.

Check the Controller A/B Communication Plug

Connector No. 7 is the main link between Controller A and Controller B in the procedure.

Push it fully together and check both locking sides.

A partially seated multi-pin connector can cause problems that look like a motor or controller fault.

Do not force the plug if it stops before fully seating.

Separate it and inspect the pins first.

Reconnect Battery Power Last

After all seven connections are complete, inspect the wiring one more time.

Confirm:

  • No. 1 Hall connector is locked
  • Yellow → Yellow is correct
  • Green → Blue is correct
  • Blue → Green is correct
  • No. 5 and No. 6 are fully seated
  • No. 7 A/B communication plug is locked
  • No phase terminal is exposed

Only then reconnect the yellow XT60 battery power.

Perform the First Test With the Wheels Raised

Support the Arwibon Q13PRO so both wheels are off the ground.

Power on the scooter.

Apply only a small amount of throttle.

Check the front motor first.

The front wheel should begin rotating normally without heavy jerking or obvious reverse operation.

If the motor behaves abnormally, switch the scooter off and disconnect battery power before touching the wiring again.

Recheck the Hall connector and the three phase-wire connections before replacing the controller or motor.

If the Front Motor Runs Backward or Jerks

Start with the wiring shown in this procedure.

Recheck:

  1. Yellow → Yellow
  2. Green → Blue
  3. Blue → Green
  4. White 6-pin Hall connector
  5. Controller A/B communication plug

Do not keep experimenting with random phase combinations while the system is powered.

Any wiring change should be made with the XT60 battery connection disconnected.

Q13PRO Controller A Wiring Is Model-Specific

This guide applies to the Controller A arrangement shown in the official Arwibon Q13PRO procedure.

The front motor crossover phase pattern in this guide should not automatically be applied to a Q12, Q06Pro, or another Arwibon scooter.

Different Arwibon electric scooter models can use different controller assignments and motor phase sequences.
