How to Remove the Main Display on an Arwibon Q06Pro Electric Scooter
If the main color display on your Arwibon Q06Pro is cracked, damaged by water, showing incomplete characters, or no longer communicating with the scooter correctly, the display assembly can be removed from the handlebar and disconnected from its two wiring plugs.
This guide follows the official Arwibon Q06pro screen removal procedure, including the rear mounting bolts, spiral cable wrap, two 3-pin connectors, and final removal of the display wiring.
Tools Needed
- 3 mm or 4 mm Allen wrench
- Protective gloves
Step 1: Locate the Two Display Mounting Bolts
Move behind the handlebar and look at the rear of the central color display.
The display is fixed to its metal bracket with two Allen bolts, one on each side.
Before loosening them, identify the nearby hydraulic brake hoses and main wiring so the wrench does not catch or press against them.
Support the display with one hand before removing either bolt.
Step 2: Remove the Left Mounting Bolt
Keep one hand on the front of the display.
Use the Allen wrench to loosen the left rear mounting bolt counterclockwise.
Remove the bolt completely and keep it somewhere safe.
Do not let the display hang freely from its wiring.
Step 3: Remove the Right Mounting Bolt
Continue supporting the screen while removing the right-side bolt.
Once both bolts are out, the display will be free from the metal mounting bracket but will still be connected by its wiring harness.
Hold the display instead of allowing the cable to support its weight.
Step 4: Open the Spiral Cable Wrap
Follow the display cable downward toward the front stem.
Locate the black spiral protective wrap around the wiring harness.
Unwind the upper section of the spiral sleeve by hand until the display connectors become accessible.
The official procedure opens roughly 10–15 cm of the wrap, just enough to expose the two display plugs.
There is no need to remove the entire spiral sleeve.
Step 5: Identify the First 3-Pin Display Connector
Locate the first black 3-pin connector coming from the display.
In the official Q06Pro procedure, this connector is associated with the red, white, and black wire group.
Hold both plastic connector housings.
Press the locking tab and pull the two halves straight apart.
Do not pull on the individual wires.
Step 6: Disconnect the Second 3-Pin Display Connector
Find the second black 3-pin connector from the display.
The procedure shows this connector with the blue, green, and yellow wire group.
Press the locking tab and separate the connector housings by pulling them straight apart.
Again, hold the connector bodies rather than the wires.
If either plug feels stuck, check that the latch is fully released before applying more force.
Step 7: Inspect the Connectors While They Are Open
Before removing the display completely, take a quick look at both connector ends.
Check for:
- Bent pins
- Backed-out terminals
- Dirt inside the connector
- Moisture
- Damaged locking tabs
- Loose wires at the rear of the plug
Do not change the wire positions unless you already know the original connector layout.
The wire colors shown in this procedure are useful for identifying the two Q06Pro display connectors, but terminal positions should not be altered based only on color.
Step 8: Free the Display Wiring From the Handlebar Area
The display cable passes through a crowded section of handlebar wiring and hydraulic brake hoses.
Hold the display in one hand and carefully guide the two disconnected plugs upward with the other.
Work each connector through the available gap.
Do not pull the connectors hard against the brake hoses, headlight wiring, or other control cables.
If one plug catches, reposition it by hand rather than forcing it through.
Step 9: Remove the Display Assembly
Once both connectors and the attached wiring have been guided out of the harness area, lift the complete display away from the scooter.
The Arwibon Q06Pro main screen is now removed.
Place the display on a clean surface where the screen and connector pins cannot be damaged.

Important Removal Notes
Always support the display while the two mounting bolts are being removed. The screen should not be left hanging from the cable because this can place unnecessary load on the connector wires.
When disconnecting the two 3-pin plugs, grip the plastic housings only. Pulling on the wires can loosen the terminals inside the connector or damage the wire-to-terminal joint.
Take extra care around the hydraulic brake hoses. The space behind the Q06Pro handlebar is limited, so the display plugs should be guided through slowly rather than pulled forcefully between the hoses and other wiring.
