Preparation & Tools Needed

Before you begin the replacement process, please ensure your scooter is completely powered off and disconnected from the charger for your safety.

Gather the following tools:

Hex keys / Allen wrenches: For loosening and tightening the mounting screws.

Electrical insulation tape: For securing the wire connections.

Heat-shrink tubing: To provide a waterproof seal over the connector.

A heat gun or lighter: To safely shrink the tubing around the wires.

Step-by-Step Video Guide

The two videos below show the complete display replacement process, from removing the original screen to installing and protecting the new connection. We recommend watching both videos before you start.

Step 1: Remove the Old Q06Pro Display

The first video shows how to remove the original display from your Arwibon Q06Pro.

Remove the mounting screws: Use the appropriate tool to loosen the screws holding the display to the handlebar bracket.

Disconnect the display cable: Follow the cable from the display until you reach the connection point. Carefully disconnect the plugs between the display wiring and the scooter wiring.

Step 2: Install and Waterproof the New Display

The second video takes you through the installation of the replacement display.

Route the cable (00:10): Place the new display on the handlebar bracket and feed the display cable through the center of the handlebar as shown in the video.

Secure the display (00:21): Install the two screws behind the display and tighten them to the bracket.

Connect the wiring (00:44): Locate the corresponding connector on the scooter and connect the display wiring. Check the connector position and direction before plugging it in.

Protect the connection (00:54 / 01:15): After connecting the wiring, wrap the connection with insulation tape and use heat-shrink tubing as demonstrated in the video. Make sure the connection area is properly covered to help keep water away from the wiring.

Post-Installation Checklist

Once the physical installation is complete, please go through these final checks before taking your scooter out for a ride:

Inspect the Mounting: Ensure the display is firmly secured to the handlebar and does not wobble.

Verify the Seal: Double-check that the heat-shrink tubing and electrical tape fully cover the connectors to prevent water damage.

Power On & Test: Turn on the scooter. Check if the screen lights up properly and displays the correct battery level, speed, and riding modes.

Test the Throttle & Buttons: While the scooter is stationary (or propped up), test the buttons to ensure they change modes correctly, and gently test the throttle to confirm it communicates perfectly with the motor.
