How to Replace the Headlights on an Arwibon Q06Pro Electric Scooter

If one of the headlights on your Arwibon Q06pro is damaged, does not turn on, has water inside the housing, or has a damaged cable, the complete light assembly can be replaced from the front mounting bar and reconnected inside the deck.

This procedure covers the dual-headlight system used on the Arwibon Q06 Pro electric scooter, including deck removal, light wiring, spiral cable wrap, headlight mounting, electrical reconnection, and the final lighting test.

Tools and Parts Needed

• 4 mm and 5 mm Allen wrenches
• Thin 8 mm or 10 mm open-end wrench
• 5 mm or 6 mm T-handle or long Allen wrench
• Replacement Arwibon Q06Pro dual-headlight assembly with wiring and connectors
• Small parts tray
• Protective gloves

Step 1: Remove the Front and Rear Deck Bolts

Start with the two Allen bolts at the front of the deck near the folding-stem base.

Remove both bolts and place them in the parts tray.

Move to the rear of the deck and remove the two bolts near the rear handle or suspension section.

Keep the hardware separated so it can be returned to the same positions during reassembly.

Step 2: Remove the Eight Side Through-Bolts

There are four through-bolts on each side of the deck.

Insert the thin open-end wrench into the gap between the deck edge and frame rail and hold the locknut underneath.

Use an Allen wrench from above to loosen the bolt counterclockwise.

Keep the lower nut from rotating while the bolt is removed.

Repeat the same procedure for all eight side bolts.

Together with the two front and two rear bolts, the deck cover is held by 12 fastener sets.

Step 3: Lift the Deck Cover and Disconnect the Deck Lights

Lift the transparent acrylic deck cover slowly.

Do not pull it completely away from the scooter because two small lighting connectors remain attached underneath.

Locate the two black 2-pin connectors for the deck lighting.

Release the locking tabs and separate the connectors by holding the plastic housings.

Once both connectors are unplugged, remove the deck cover and place it somewhere safe.

Do not allow the acrylic panel to rest on its wiring.

Step 4: Locate the Two Headlight Connectors

At the front of the open controller compartment, locate the two cables coming down from the headlights.

The official Q06Pro procedure identifies these as Lamp 1 and Lamp 2.

Find the corresponding quick-connect plugs inside the deck.

Release the locking tabs and pull the connector housings straight apart.

Do not pull the connectors apart by their wires.

Electrical Safety Note

The supplied procedure shows the headlight connectors being disconnected during the replacement process. As a general electrical-service precaution, the scooter should be switched off and the main battery supply disconnected before electrical connectors are separated or reconnected.

Step 5: Remove the Spiral Cable Wrap

Move to the front stem.

The headlight wiring is bundled with the main harness inside the black spiral protective wrap.

Unwind the spiral wrap by hand and work downward or upward along the harness until the individual headlight wires are exposed.

Follow the two headlight cables carefully.

Free their connectors and wiring from the main harness so the old light assemblies can be removed without pulling on the other scooter cables.

Step 6: Remove the Left Headlight

Support the left headlight with one hand.

Insert the T-handle or long Allen wrench into the mounting bolt from underneath the front light bar.

Turn the bolt counterclockwise and remove it with its washer.

Continue holding the lamp while the bolt comes out so the light does not drop and pull on its cable.

Remove the left headlight from the mounting point.

Step 7: Remove the Right Headlight

Repeat the same procedure on the right side.

Support the lamp body, remove the mounting bolt from underneath, and take the light away from the front mounting bar.

The complete original dual-headlight assembly can now be removed from the Arwibon Q06Pro.

Step 8: Install the New Left Headlight

Take the replacement left headlight and straighten its cable.

Position the mounting base over the corresponding hole in the front light bar.

Insert the mounting bolt from underneath.

Hold the headlight at the desired vertical angle while tightening the bolt.

Tighten the fastener securely enough that the lamp cannot rotate on the bracket.

Do not use an invented torque value if the manufacturer has not supplied one.

Step 9: Install the New Right Headlight

Position the right replacement headlight on the opposite side.

Insert its mounting bolt from below and tighten it while holding the lamp in position.

Before moving on, compare both light housings from the front.

They should sit at similar heights and angles without visible looseness.

Step 10: Set the Headlight Angle

The headlight angle should be checked before the wiring is completely bundled.

Aim both lamps slightly downward toward the road rather than directly into the line of sight of approaching riders or pedestrians.

Do not point the lights excessively high.

At the same time, avoid setting them so low that the usable illuminated area directly ahead of the scooter becomes too short.

Once the position is set, confirm that both mounting bolts remain secure.

Step 11: Route the New Headlight Cables Along the Stem

Run the two new headlight cables alongside the existing front wiring harness.

Keep the cables smooth and avoid sharp bends.

The wiring must not be stretched tightly between the light bar and the folding section.

Leave enough cable movement for steering and folding.

Step 12: Reinstall the Spiral Protective Wrap

Start wrapping the black spiral sleeve around the combined wiring harness.

Work along the stem while keeping the headlight cables together with the main harness.

Do not pull the wiring tight while wrapping it.

The harness needs enough free movement for the handlebars to turn fully in both directions.

When finished, the cables should remain organized without being compressed or pulled by the spiral wrap.

Step 13: Route the Headlight Connectors Into the Deck

Guide both headlight cables down through the front cable entry and into the deck compartment.

Do not force the connectors through the opening.

Once inside the deck, locate the matching light connectors.

Align the keyed guides and locking tabs before pushing the connectors together.

Push each plug fully into place.

If a connector does not slide together normally, stop and check its orientation rather than forcing it.

Step 14: Test the New Headlights

Restore electrical power and turn the scooter on.

Operate the headlight switch.

Check both headlights.

If the replacement assembly includes the same functions shown in the original Q06Pro setup, also verify the surrounding light rings and the related horn function.

Both lamps should illuminate normally without flickering.

If one side remains off, switch the scooter off again and inspect that lamp's connector before continuing.

Step 15: Check Steering Cable Slack

Before closing the deck, turn the handlebars fully to the left.

Watch the headlight wiring and spiral-wrapped harness.

Nothing should pull tight.

Then turn the handlebars fully to the right and check again.

The cables should move naturally without stretching, catching on the folding assembly, or pulling against the connectors inside the deck.

This check is important after any front-light or handlebar wiring service.

Step 16: Reconnect the Acrylic Deck Lights

Bring the acrylic deck cover back to the scooter.

Reconnect the two small 2-pin lighting connectors underneath the panel.

Align each plug correctly and push it together until its latch engages.

Arrange these wires inside the deck before lowering the cover.

Do not leave either connector directly under a bolt hole or along the edge where the cover can pinch it.

Step 17: Reinstall the Deck Cover

Lower the acrylic deck cover into position.

Check the perimeter before installing the bolts.

No cable should be trapped between the cover and frame.

Install the front and rear fasteners, then reinstall the eight side through-bolts.

For each side bolt, hold the lower nut with the thin open-end wrench while tightening the Allen bolt from above.

Tighten the deck fasteners progressively so the cover sits evenly.

Step 18: Perform the Final Lighting Test

Turn the Arwibon Q06Pro on again.

Check:

• Left headlight
• Right headlight
• Both headlight light rings, if fitted
• Deck lighting
• Horn
• Full left steering
• Full right steering

Watch the wiring while turning the handlebars.

There should be no pulling at the connectors or visible movement of the headlight mounts.

If either light flickers when the handlebars are turned, inspect the cable routing and connector before riding.
