How to Install the Seat on an Arwibon Q06Pro Electric Scooter

The seat kit for the Arwibon Q06pro uses a suspension seat post, folding lower post, and a metal mounting base fixed to the rear section of the deck. Before the seat can be installed, the standard clamp supplied on the underside of the saddle must first be removed because it is not used with the Q06Pro suspension post.

This guide follows the official Arwibon Q06pro seat installation procedure, including saddle assembly, seat-post installation, folding-base mounting, height adjustment, and the final stability check.

Tools Needed

• 13 mm or 14 mm open-end or box wrench
• T-handle Allen wrench or standard Allen wrench set
• Protective gloves

Q06Pro Seat Kit Parts

The seat assembly shown in the procedure includes:

• Padded spring saddle
• Silver suspension seat post with rubber dust cover
• Black folding lower seat post with quick-release clamp
• Metal deck mounting base with folding latch
• Long hinge bolt
• Locknut

Step 1: Remove the Standard Clamp From the Saddle

Place the saddle upside down on a stable work surface.

Locate the clamp assembly underneath the saddle.

Use a wrench to loosen the nuts on the long horizontal clamp bolt. Remove the nuts and washers from both sides.

Take off the toothed outer clamp plates and pull out the long bolt.

You will now see the black semicircular reducing clamp in the center of the original saddle hardware.

This part is not used for the Arwibon Q06Pro installation shown in the official procedure.

Remove it and keep it aside with the unused hardware.

Do not reinstall this reducing clamp when fitting the saddle to the Q06Pro suspension seat post.

Step 2: Fit the Suspension Seat Post to the Saddle Rails

Take the silver suspension seat post with the black rubber dust cover.

Position the toothed upper mount of the seat post between the two metal saddle rails.

Align the seat-post clamp with the rails, then insert the original long bolt horizontally through the assembly.

Make sure the bolt passes through the seat-post mounting section correctly before reinstalling the remaining clamp pieces.

Step 3: Reinstall the Toothed Saddle Clamp Plates

Fit the original inner and outer toothed clamp pieces back onto both sides of the saddle mount.

The curved sections of the clamp should sit correctly around the two saddle rails.

Check that the toothed faces are seated together rather than resting on top of each other incorrectly.

These teeth are used to hold the saddle at the selected angle once the side nuts are tightened.

Step 4: Adjust the Saddle Angle

Before fully tightening the saddle clamp, rotate the saddle until the seating surface is approximately level.

The saddle angle can still be adjusted while the toothed clamp is slightly loose.

Once the position looks correct, install the nuts on both ends of the long clamp bolt by hand.

Tighten the two sides progressively with the wrench.

Do not fully tighten one side while leaving the other side loose. Alternate between both sides until the saddle is held securely and does not rotate on the seat post.

No factory torque value is provided in this procedure, so do not use an estimated torque specification.

Step 5: Insert the Silver Seat Post Into the Black Lower Post

Open the quick-release lever at the top of the black lower seat post.

Insert the silver suspension seat post into the black tube.

Slide it down to a suitable starting position.

Close the quick-release lever lightly for now. Final seat height can be adjusted after the complete seat assembly is mounted on the scooter.

Step 6: Position the Metal Mounting Base on the Deck

Take the black metal seat mounting base.

Place it over the rear section of the scooter deck in the position shown in the official procedure.

Align the mounting base with the existing fixing points on the deck.

Make sure the base sits flat against its mounting surface before fitting the folding seat post.

Step 7: Fit the Folding Seat Post Into the Base

Lift the assembled seat and lower post.

Position the U-shaped hinge section at the bottom of the black seat post inside the hinge section of the metal base.

The holes through the lower post and mounting base must line up.

The official procedure shows that the post needs to be held in position while the holes are aligned.

Push and hold the post in the correct position until you can see that the hinge holes are lined up from one side to the other.

Do not hammer the hinge bolt through misaligned holes.

Step 8: Install the Long Hinge Bolt

Once the holes are aligned, insert the long hinge bolt horizontally through the mounting base and seat-post hinge.

Push it through until the threaded end exits the opposite side.

Install the locknut.

Hold one side of the fastener with the appropriate tool while tightening from the other side.

This prevents the entire bolt from rotating together.

Tighten the hinge fastener securely while confirming that the folding section remains correctly seated in the base.

Step 9: Lock the Lower Folding Mechanism

Raise the black seat post into its upright riding position.

Locate the folding quick-release mechanism at the bottom of the post.

Adjust the opposite nut to set the clamping pressure, then close the folding lever.

The lever should require noticeable hand pressure to close.

If it closes with almost no resistance, open it and increase the preload slightly before trying again.

The folding mechanism should hold the post firmly once locked.

Do not leave the lever partially closed.

Step 10: Adjust the Seat Height

Open the quick-release lever in the middle of the seat post.

Raise or lower the silver suspension post until the saddle is at the required height.

Close the quick-release lever.

Push down on the saddle and check whether the silver post slides inside the black tube.

If the seat post moves, reopen the lever and increase the clamp preload before locking it again.

Do not ride with a seat post that can slide under hand pressure.

Step 11: Check the Saddle and Suspension

Press firmly downward on the saddle several times.

The suspension section should compress and return normally.

Check that:

• The saddle does not rotate on its clamp
• The saddle does not tilt unexpectedly
• The silver seat post does not slide down
• The black lower post does not move inside the folding base
• The hinge bolt remains secure
• The folding lever stays fully locked
• There is no obvious side-to-side movement

If any part moves, correct that connection before riding.

Step 12: Check the Folding Function

Open the lower folding latch and carefully fold the seat post.

Then return the post to its upright position and lock the lever again.

Check that the hinge moves normally and that the locking mechanism fully engages when the seat is returned to the riding position.

The post should not rock forward or backward after the latch has been closed.

Final Check Before Riding

Sit on the saddle while the arwibon Q06Pro is stationary and supported.

Apply downward pressure and shift your weight slightly forward, backward, and from side to side.

Recheck the saddle clamp, height-adjustment clamp, lower hinge, and folding latch.

The complete seat assembly should remain fixed without slipping or noticeable free play.

If the saddle angle needs to be changed, loosen the saddle-clamp nuts slightly, reposition the saddle, and tighten both sides again.
