How to Install the Seat Kit on an Arwibon GT08 Scooter
Installing the seat kit on an arwibon gt08 scooter is easiest when the work is done in three stages: assemble the saddle and seat post first, build the lower support bracket, then mount the complete assembly to the deck.
The main points are keeping the saddle clamp teeth aligned, leaving the seat-post clamp loose until the post is inserted, and using the longer mounting bolts supplied with the seat kit when fixing the base to the scooter.
Tools Needed
Prepare:
- Allen key set
- Two open-end or box wrenches
- GT08 seat kit hardware
The seat kit includes the saddle and seat post, two side support plates, three cross tubes, the seat-post clamp, saddle mounting hardware, long deck bolts, and nylon lock nuts.
Step 1: Turn the Saddle Over
Place the saddle upside down so the two metal rails and the mounting area underneath are visible.
Position the upper section of the seat post between the saddle rails.
Align the saddle mount with the center of the rails before installing the horizontal mounting bolt.
Step 2: Install the Inner Toothed Clamps
Pass the long horizontal bolt through the saddle mounting area.
Fit the curved inner clamp pieces onto both sides.
The toothed surfaces need to sit in the correct position against the matching saddle hardware.
Do not tighten the assembly yet.
At this stage, the saddle still needs to move enough for the angle to be adjusted.
Step 3: Install the Outer Clamp Plates
Fit the outer curved clamp plates onto both sides of the saddle rails.
Align the teeth on the outer pieces with the teeth on the inner clamp pieces.
The teeth should sit together cleanly before the nuts are tightened.
If the teeth are sitting on top of each other instead of engaging, reposition the parts first.
Forcing the hardware tight while the teeth are misaligned can damage the clamp surfaces.
Step 4: Install the Washers and Nuts
Place the washers onto both ends of the horizontal bolt.
Thread the outer nuts on by hand.
Only tighten them a few turns at first.
Leave enough movement to adjust the saddle forward, backward, and through its tilt range.
Step 5: Set the Saddle Position
Move the saddle along the rails until it reaches the position you want.
Then adjust the front-to-back angle.
For a normal starting position, keep the saddle roughly level before making any personal adjustment.
Check both sides of the saddle clamp and make sure the toothed sections remain fully engaged.
Step 6: Tighten the Saddle Mount
Use two wrenches for this step.
Hold the nut on one side with the first wrench while tightening the opposite side with the second wrench.
Then switch sides and tighten the other side.
Work back and forth instead of fully tightening only one side.
Once finished, hold the saddle and try to tilt it forward and backward.
It should stay in position without moving on the mount.
Step 7: Assemble the Two Side Support Plates
Take the left and right black support plates from the arwibon gt08 seat kit.
Position them parallel to each other.
Install the three hollow metal cross tubes between the plates at the front, center, and rear mounting positions.
Pass the corresponding bolts through the side plates and cross tubes.
Step 8: Tighten the Base Support Structure

Work from one connection to another and keep the two side plates aligned.
The finished base should remain symmetrical.

Step 9: Install the Seat-Post Clamp
Place the split seat-post clamp block into the upper mounting area between the two side plates.
Align the four horizontal bolt holes.
Insert the four long bolts through the side plate and clamp assembly.
Install the nylon lock nuts on the opposite side.
Do not fully tighten these four bolts yet.
The center opening needs to remain loose enough for the seat post to slide in later.
Step 10: Position the Seat Base on the GT08 Deck
Move the assembled support base to the rear section of the gt08 scooter deck.
Align the four mounting holes in the seat base with the four factory mounting points in the deck.
Check all four holes before installing the bolts.
If one side does not line up, reposition the bracket instead of forcing the bolt through at an angle.
Step 11: Install the Four Long Deck Bolts
Use the four longer bolts supplied with the seat kit.
Insert them from the top through the seat bracket and the deck mounting holes.
Do not reuse the original short deck screws for this installation.
The seat bracket adds extra material thickness, so the longer bolts are needed to pass through the complete mounting area.
Install all four bolts before tightening any of them fully.
Step 12: Install the Nylon Lock Nuts
Fit the supplied nylon lock nuts onto the lower ends of the four deck bolts.
Start each nut by hand.
Make sure the threads engage correctly before using tools.
Do not force a nut that starts at an angle.
Step 13: Tighten the Seat Base to the Deck
Hold the lock nut underneath with an open-end wrench.
Use the Allen wrench from above to tighten the bolt.
Repeat this at all four mounting points.
Work between the four bolts gradually instead of fully tightening one corner first.
This keeps the base sitting flat against the deck.
Once all four are tight, hold the bracket and try to move it from side to side.
There should be no movement between the bracket and the scooter frame.
Step 14: Insert the Seat Post
Take the saddle and seat-post assembly prepared earlier.
Insert the lower seat post vertically into the center opening of the clamp.
Slide it down to the required height.
Keep the saddle facing straight forward.
Do not tighten the clamp while the seat post is sitting at an angle.
Step 15: Adjust the Seat Height and Direction
Stand behind the arwibon gt08 scooter and check the saddle alignment.
The saddle should point in the same direction as the deck and front wheel.
Adjust the height before tightening the clamp.
Make sure enough of the post remains inside the clamp for it to be held securely.
Step 16: Tighten the Four Seat-Post Clamp Bolts

Use an Allen wrench on the bolt from the opposite side.
Tighten the four long clamp bolts gradually.

Use an alternating sequence:
- Tighten the upper bolt slightly.
- Move to a lower bolt.
- Tighten the opposite side.
- Continue working between all four bolts.
- Repeat until the clamp holds the post firmly.
This keeps the clamp pressure more even around the seat post.
Step 17: Check the Saddle
Hold the saddle with both hands.
Push it forward and backward.
Then move it from side to side.
Check three areas separately:
- the saddle rail clamp;
- the seat-post clamp;
- the deck mounting base.
None of these areas should move independently.
If the saddle tilts, recheck the toothed rail clamps.
If the entire seat post moves, recheck the four clamp bolts.
If the complete bracket moves on the deck, recheck the four long deck bolts and lock nuts.
Step 18: Final Check Before Riding
