Raise the Rear Wheel
Step 1: Support the Scooter Securely

Release the Brake Lever
Step 8: Let the Lever Return Fully
Once both caliper bolts are secure, release the rear brake lever.
Remove the Velcro strap if one was used.
Check that the lever returns normally.
The brake pads should release the rotor enough for the rear wheel to rotate without heavy brake drag.
Spin the Rear Wheel Again
Step 9: Perform the Second Wheel-Spin Test
Spin the rear wheel by hand again.
Listen at the caliper.
Compare the result with the first test.
A successful adjustment should remove the continuous rubbing or significantly reduce the brake drag.
The wheel should rotate freely without a persistent metallic scraping sound.
A very light occasional pad contact can occur on some disc-brake setups; the important point is that the rotor should not remain heavily clamped or continuously scrape through the full rotation.
Apply the Brake and Check Release

Pull the rear brake lever firmly.
Release it.

Repeat this several times.
Check that:

- The wheel releases after braking

If the Rotor Rubs Once Per Revolution
