⚠️ Safety Warning

• Turn off the scooter completely before replacement.
• Do not squeeze the brake lever during installation.
• The hydraulic brake system contains brake fluid. Keep the oil hose connection area clean and avoid damaging the brake line.
• Test the braking system completely before riding.

🔧 Tools Required

• Allen wrench set
• Open-end wrench
• Clean cloth
• Electrical tape
• Spiral cable sleeve

Remove Original Brake Handle

1. Disconnect Brake Sensor Wiring

1. Remove the rubber grip from the handlebar.
2. Loosen the brake handle fixing screw and move the old brake handle away from the handlebar.
3. Open the spiral cable sleeve around the stem wiring.
4. Disconnect the brake cut-off sensor connector (red and black wire connector).

2. Remove Brake Caliper

1. Open the deck cover to access the brake system connection area.
2. Place a clean cloth around the hydraulic hose connection.
3. Use a wrench to loosen the brake hose fitting.
4. Remove the brake caliper from the scooter.
5. Keep the hose opening facing upward to reduce brake fluid leakage.

3. Remove Old Brake Line Assembly

1. Pull the hydraulic brake hose from the handlebar side.
2. Carefully guide the brake hose through the scooter frame routing hole.
3. Remove the complete old brake handle assembly from the scooter.

Install New Brake Handle Kit

1. Install New Brake Line

1. Remove the protective packaging from the new brake handle assembly.
2. Guide the new hydraulic hose from the handlebar area through the scooter stem.
3. Pass the hose through the frame routing hole until it reaches the brake caliper position.
4. Keep the hose smooth and avoid bending it sharply.

2. Install Brake Caliper

1. Connect the hydraulic hose to the new brake caliper.
2. Place the caliper onto the brake disc.
3. Slightly tighten the fixing screws.
4. Rotate the wheel and adjust the caliper position.
5. Make sure the brake disc rotates smoothly without rubbing.
6. Tighten the caliper screws completely.

3. Install Brake Handle

1. Slide the new brake handle onto the handlebar.
2. Adjust the handle angle to a comfortable riding position.
3. Tighten the handle fixing screw.
4. Connect the brake cut-off sensor connector.
5. Reinstall the rubber grip.

Final Test

Before riding, complete the following checks:

1. Turn on the scooter and check that the brake cut-off function works correctly.
2. Squeeze the brake handle and confirm the brake feels firm.
3. Check the caliper area for any brake fluid leakage.
4. Lift the wheel and rotate it to confirm there is no abnormal rubbing noise.
5. Reinstall the spiral cable sleeve and organize all wiring.

After confirming that the brake system works normally, the Q06Pro brake handle replacement is complete.
