How to Install the Front Brake Cable on an Arwibon Q30 Scooter

This tutorial covers installation and adjustment of the front brake inner cable on an arwibon q30 scooter. Tools and Parts Needed

Step 1: Align the Brake Lever Slots

Step 2: Install the Cable End Into the Brake Lever

Slide the protective spring over the inner cable.

Step 7: Route the Cable Through the Caliper Arm

Pass the inner cable through the clamping point on the front brake caliper arm.

Do not tighten the fixing bolt yet.

Step 8: Remove Excess Cable Slack

Push the brake arm slightly toward its braking position.

Do not pull the cable so tight that the brake stays applied after the lever is released.

The goal is to remove obvious free play before the cable is locked.

Step 9: Tighten the Cable Fixing Bolt

Keep the cable in position.

Use the Allen wrench to tighten the fixing bolt on the caliper arm.

After tightening, pull the cable gently by hand.

It should not slip through the clamp.

Step 10: Test the Front Brake Lever

Squeeze the left brake lever several times.

Step 11: Spin the Front Wheel

Lift the front wheel and rotate it by hand.

Release the brake lever completely.
