How to Remove the Main Cable Harness on an Arwibon Q30 Scooter

This tutorial covers complete removal of the Arwibon Q30 main cable harness, including disconnecting the handlebar waterproof connectors, opening the external cable wrap, disconnecting the controller-side plugs inside the deck, and pulling the full harness out through the stem.

Tools Needed

Prepare:

• Scissors or cable-tie cutter
• Allen key
• Marker or labels, optional
• Protective gloves

Disconnect the Handlebar Wiring

Step 1: Cut the Handlebar Cable Tie

Locate the main cable bundle below the handlebar.

Use scissors to cut the black nylon cable tie at about 00:03.

Keep the blades away from the cable insulation.

Step 2: Move the Outer Cable Sleeve

Push the outer rubber or plastic cable sleeve upward.

Move it far enough to expose the waterproof connector group underneath.

Step 3: Identify the Handlebar Connectors

Step 4: Disconnect the Waterproof Multi-Pin Plugs

Pull the Main Cable Through the Stem

Important Notes

Mark the Connectors Before Removal

The main harness connects several handlebar and controller-side circuits.

A photo or simple label can make the replacement process easier.

Do Not Pull on the Wires

Always separate connectors by their housings.

Pulling directly on the wires can loosen or back out the internal terminals.

Be Careful When Cutting Cable Ties

Keep scissors away from the wire insulation.

A small cut in the outer jacket can later develop into a broken or shorted conductor.

Use Two-Handed Cable Removal

When pulling the harness through the stem, push from below while pulling gently from above.

This is much safer than using force from one end.

Stop if the Connector Group Gets Stuck

Final Check

After removal, confirm that:
