Arwibon Q06Pro Fork Removal & Replacement Complete Guide
If the front fork on your Arwibon Q06pro is bent after an impact, the steering stem has excessive play, the headset feels rough, or the front suspension assembly is damaged, the complete front-end assembly can be removed and rebuilt.

Tools Needed

- Protective gloves
Q06Pro Headset Bearing Order
The front steering assembly uses five main headset components from bottom to top:

Remove the Headlights and Horn
Step 6: Remove the Dual Headlights

Step 10: Remove the Lower Swingarm Pivot
Locate the main pivot bolt passing through the lower swingarm and fork support plates.

Remove the long pivot bolt and locknut.
The lower wheel-support swingarm can now be separated from the main fork assembly.
Prepare the New Fork and Lower Headset
Step 11: Install the Lower Dust Cup
Place the new fork assembly upright on a stable surface.
Take the black lower dust cup.
Install it over the steering tube with the larger side facing downward, as shown in the Q06Pro procedure.
Slide it down until it sits against the base of the fork.
Step 12: Install the Lower Bearing
Apply grease to the lower bearing.
Slide the bearing onto the steering tube and seat it against the lower cup.
Make sure the bearing sits flat rather than tilted on the tube.
Install the Fork Into the Frame
Step 13: Insert the Steering Tube From Below
Support the new fork and guide the steering tube upward through the frame head tube.
Push it through until the lower bearing and cup seat against the bottom of the head tube.
Hold the fork in place while installing the upper headset components.
Install the Upper Headset Bearing
Step 14: Fit the Upper Bearing
From the top of the frame head tube, slide the upper bearing over the exposed steering tube.
Push it downward into the upper headset seat.
Apply grease as required by the assembly shown in the procedure.
Step 15: Seat the Bearing Evenly
If the bearing needs to be seated farther into the head tube, use a nylon or brass drift.
Place the drift against the bearing ring and tap lightly with a hammer.
Work gradually around the circumference rather than driving one side fully down first.
Do not strike the bearing directly with a steel hammer.
Do not hit the rolling elements or seal.
Seat the Lower Headset Assembly
Step 16: Check the Lower Cup Fit
Inspect the joint underneath the frame where the fork and lower headset meet.
The lower cup and bearing should sit evenly against the frame.
If the assembly is not fully seated, use a rubber mallet or a protected contact point to tap the fork assembly upward gently, following the official procedure.
The purpose is to seat the components together, not to drive them with heavy impact.
Install the Upper Dust Cup and Main Locknut
Step 17: Install the Upper Dust Cup
Place the black upper dust cup over the steering tube.
Seat it against the top bearing.
Make sure it is centered before fitting the main locknut.
Step 18: Install the Main Steering Locknut
Thread the large flat locknut onto the steering tube by hand first.
Use the large open-end wrench to tighten it.
The correct adjustment is not simply "as tight as possible."
Tighten until the headset has no noticeable forward-and-back play, while the fork can still turn smoothly.
Check Headset Adjustment
Step 19: Test Steering Movement
Turn the fork from left to right by hand.
The movement should feel smooth.
There should be no binding, notching, or heavy resistance.
Step 20: Check for Front-to-Back Play
Hold the fork firmly and push it forward and backward.
There should not be a knocking sensation or visible movement at the headset.
If there is still play, increase the locknut preload slightly.
If steering becomes heavy or rough, the locknut may be too tight.
Readjust before continuing.
Reinstall the Handlebar Stem
Step 21: Insert the Handlebar Assembly
Slide the handlebar stem assembly back into the fork steering tube.
Align the handlebar with the front wheel and fork.
The handlebar should sit straight when the fork points forward.
Step 22: Tighten the Three Clamp Bolts
Install the three stem-clamp bolts.
Tighten them progressively rather than fully tightening one bolt first.
Recheck handlebar alignment before the final tightening pass.
Reinstall the Lower Swingarm and Shocks
Step 23: Install the Lower Swingarm
Position the lower swingarm back between the fork mounting plates.
Align the pivot holes.
Insert the main pivot bolt and install the locknut.
Hold one side while tightening the other so the entire fastener does not rotate.
Step 24: Reinstall the Front Shock Absorbers
Reconnect the lower ends of both shock absorbers to the swingarm.
Insert the lower hinge bolts and secure them.
Then reconnect the upper shock mounts to the fork assembly.
Install the upper bolts and locknuts.
Check that both shocks sit evenly and can move through their normal travel.
Reinstall the Front Motor Wheel
Step 25: Position the Front Wheel
Lift the front motor wheel into the swingarm or fork slots.
Guide the motor cable carefully into its original position.
Do not trap the cable between the axle and frame.
Step 26: Reinstall the Torque Washers
Install the anti-rotation or torque washers in their original orientation.
The tabs must engage correctly with the axle slots.
These washers prevent the motor axle from rotating under drive torque.
Step 27: Tighten the Front Axle Nuts
Install the left and right axle nuts.
Tighten both sides securely.
Do not invent a torque value if the official procedure does not provide one.
After tightening, confirm that the axle sits fully in both slots and that the torque washers remain engaged.
Reinstall the Front Brake Caliper
Step 28: Position the Caliper Over the Rotor
Place the red hydraulic caliper back over the front brake disc.
Install the two caliper mounting bolts loosely at first.
Step 29: Center the Caliper
Hold the front brake lever so the pads clamp the rotor.
While maintaining brake pressure, tighten the two caliper bolts progressively.
Release the brake and spin the front wheel.
If the rotor rubs, repeat the centering adjustment before riding.
Reinstall the Horn and Headlights
Step 30: Install the Horn
Return the horn to its original mounting point on the front crossbar.
Install the mounting bolt and tighten it securely.
Make sure the horn does not contact the suspension or interfere with steering movement.
Step 31: Install the Dual Headlights
Mount the left and right headlights on the crossbar.
Set both housings at similar angles.
Aim the lights slightly downward rather than excessively high.
Tighten the mounting bolts while holding the lights in position.
Final Steering and Suspension Check
Before riding the Arwibon Q06Pro, check the complete front assembly.
Turn the handlebar fully left and right.
Confirm that:
- Steering moves smoothly
- There is no headset knocking
- The handlebar remains aligned with the front wheel
- The fork does not bind
- Both shock absorbers move normally
- The front axle is fully seated
- The torque washers remain correctly engaged
- The brake caliper is secure
- The rotor does not rub heavily
- The horn and headlights are firmly mounted
- No cable or hydraulic hose is stretched at full steering lock
Hold the front brake and gently rock the scooter forward and backward.
If you feel movement at the headset, do not ride until the main locknut adjustment has been corrected.

Important Service Notes
Do not strike the headset bearing directly with a steel hammer. If seating force is required, use a suitable soft drift and work around the bearing evenly.
