The Arwibon Q30 key lock switch has different connector versions. Incorrect wiring connection may cause the wires to overheat or burn out.

Before installation, please confirm:

• Your original key lock connector type
• Connector shape
• Wire color sequence
• Pin position arrangement

The wire color of each pin must match the original lock switch one by one.

If the wire sequence does not match, the key lock pin position must be adjusted to the correct matching position before installation.

Original Q30 Replacement Lock Switch

The Arwibon Q30 Lock Switch is a replacement ignition switch assembly with an integrated voltage display.

It allows you to:

Two Connector Versions Available

Do not install a connector with different wire positions.

Incorrect connection may damage the wiring system.

Tools Required

• Allen wrench
• Screwdriver (if required)
• Electrical insulation tape

How to Remove the Key Lock Switch on the Arwibon Q30 Scooter

1. Turn Off the Scooter

1. Turn off the scooter completely.
2. Remove the key.
3. Disconnect the charger if connected.

2. Disconnect the Lock Switch Wiring

1. Locate the wiring connection under the handlebar area.
2. Remove the outer spiral cable protector.
3. Carefully remove the electrical tape around the wiring.

⚠️ Do not cut the internal wires when removing the tape.

4. Find the key lock connector.
5. Press the connector clip and disconnect the plug.

3. Remove the Handlebar Components

1. Remove the right handle grip.
2. Loosen the brake lever fixing screw.
3. Move the brake lever away from the installation area.

This creates enough space to remove the key lock switch.

4. Remove the Old Lock Switch

1. Loosen the fixing screw on the key lock switch.
2. Pull the old lock switch assembly out from the handlebar.
3. Remove the old wiring assembly completely.

How to Install the Key Lock Switch on the Arwibon Q30 Scooter

1. Install the New Lock Switch

1. Insert the new key lock switch into the handlebar.
2. Adjust the display angle to a comfortable viewing position.
3. Tighten the fixing screw.

Make sure the lock switch is firmly fixed and does not move.

2. Connect the Wiring

1. Route the new lock switch cable along the original wiring path.
2. Compare the new connector with the original connector.
3. Confirm that:
   • Wire colors match
   • Pin positions match
   • Connector direction is correct
4. Connect the plug firmly.

3. Protect the Wiring

1. Wrap the connector area with electrical insulation tape.
2. Make sure no wire or connector is exposed.
3. Reinstall the spiral cable protector.

This helps protect the connection from water, vibration, and daily riding conditions.

4. Reinstall Handlebar Components

1. Install the brake lever back to the original position.
2. Tighten the fixing screw.
3. Install the rubber handle grip.

Final Test

Before riding:

1. Insert the key.
2. Turn the key to ON position.
3. Check whether the voltage display turns on.
4. Confirm the battery voltage reading is normal.
5. Test scooter power operation.

If the display does not turn on or the wiring becomes hot:

• Turn off the scooter immediately.
• Disconnect the power.
• Recheck connector type and wire sequence.
