Q30 Battery Replacement Guide

Safety Notice: The battery is the highest-voltage and most important component of the scooter. Always turn off the scooter before replacement. Never use metal tools to puncture, squeeze, or short-circuit the battery terminals.

Tools Needed

• Allen wrench set
• Screwdriver
• Insulating gloves
• Double-sided tape or EVA foam (recommended for battery fixing)

Battery Removal Steps

1. Turn Off Scooter and Open Deck Cover

1. Turn off the Q30 scooter completely.
2. Remove the key and make sure the display is powered off.
3. Place the scooter on a stable surface.
4. Use an Allen wrench to remove all screws around the deck cover.
5. Carefully lift the deck cover and expose the battery compartment.

2. Disconnect Main Power Connection

1. Locate the battery main power cable inside the compartment.
2. Find the large yellow power connector connected between the battery and controller.
3. Hold both sides of the connector firmly.
4. Pull the connector apart carefully to completely disconnect battery power.

Important:
Always disconnect the main power connector first before removing other cables.

3. Disconnect Battery Auxiliary Wires

1. Locate the smaller battery cables connected to the scooter wiring system.
2. Disconnect the charging port cable and other small connectors.
3. Hold the plastic connector body when unplugging.
4. Do not pull directly on the wires to avoid damaging the cable connection.

4. Remove Old Battery

1. Check that all battery cables have been disconnected.

3. Hold both sides of the battery with both hands.
4. Lift the battery vertically from the compartment.
5. Place the old battery in a safe location.

Note:

New Battery Installation Steps

2. Install New 30Ah Battery

1. Place the new 48V 30Ah battery into the original battery position.
2. Check that the battery sits flat inside the compartment.
3. Add double-sided tape or EVA foam padding under the battery if needed.
4. Make sure the battery cannot move during riding.

3. Connect Battery Wires

1. Connect the small battery cables first.
2. Make sure each connector matches the original position.
3. Push each connector fully until it is securely connected.
4. Check that no connector is loose.

4. Connect Main Power Cable

1. Locate the large yellow power connector.
2. Align the connector correctly.
3. Push both sides together firmly until fully inserted.
4. Check that the connection is tight and stable.

Final Testing Before Riding

1. Do not install the deck cover immediately.
2. Turn on the scooter and check whether the display works normally.
3. Check the battery level on the screen.
4. Test the throttle at low speed.
5. Confirm the motor works normally.
6. Check that there are no abnormal sounds or loose connections.
7. Turn off the scooter after testing.
8. Arrange all cables neatly inside the battery compartment.
9. Make sure no wires are pressed by the deck cover.
10. Reinstall the deck cover and tighten all screws.
